My husband and I are blessed with two children. I absolutely love my job, and the tenants are all like my grandparents. My mother taught me how to cook, and I was always in the kitchen with her. I love working with our residents. They are like my grandparents and parents. My husband and I enjoy going to Chicago to see our grandchildren! My name is Joy Durbin. I was born and raised in Taylorville, and I have been the housekeeper at Taylorville Estates for 13 years. The atmosphere here is very homey and relaxing, and all the residents make me feel like I am a part of their family. My husband and I have two sons.
